Shrimp Scampi with Tomato Cream


What’s not to love?  Garlic, shrimp and a creamy tomato sauce it simply scrumptious!  Even better, it only takes about a half an hour.

  • Olive oil
  • 2 t garlic, minced
  • 10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 c marinara sauce
  • ¼ heavy cream
  • ½ lb. wavy pappardelle

Cook pappardelle to al dente.

Place the garlic and olive oil in a skillet and cook for two minutes over medium heat.  Add the shrimp and cook for about seven minutes.  Remove the shrimp from the skilled and add the marinara.   Stir and cook for about ten minutes.  Stir the heavy cream and cook for two minutes.  Add the shrimp and any juices back ino the skillet with the sauce.  Toss the macaroni into sauce to coat well.    Serve and enjoy!
