Creamy Chicken Bisque


Yummy, creamy chicken bisque is perfect for an autumn evening.  

  • 4 T butter
  • 4 T flour
  • 4 c chicken broth
  • 1 ½ c heavy cream
  • 2 c chicken, cooked and shredded
  • salt and pepper to taste

Place the butter in a skillet and stir in the flour.  Stir in the chicken broth slowly.   Then stir in the cream and chicken.   Stir in the salt and pepper.   Cook for five minutes and sprinkle with parsley.   Serve with warm crusty bread.
