Garlic Green Beans


Quick, easy and perfect for a busy holiday season.

  • 1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed, cut
  • water
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

 Place green beans in a large skillet, cover with water and bring to a boil.   Reduce heat to medium heat and simmer for five minutes.   Drain and return the green beans to the skillet.   Add the oil and cook for three minutes over medium heat.    Stir in the garlic, cook for three minutes and add salt and pepper.  Serve.
