Homemade Fettuccine with Seafood Sauce

We like to have seafood on a Friday night.  Scallops, shrimp and lump crabmeat are a great combination over fresh, homemade fettuccine.

  • 1 ½ T butter
  • 1 c onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb. sea scallops
  • 2 c half and half
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ lb. lump crabmeat
  • ¾ c parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. fettuccine
  • ¼ c parsley, chopped
 
Place butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, add onions and garlic and cook for one minute. Add shrimp and scallops and cook for three minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and add half and half, salt, pepper, and crabmeat.  Cook for three minutes.
Sprinkle half cup cheese over seafood mixture and cook for one minute.   Remove from heat and combine pasta and seafood mixture in a large bowl.
 
Plate and sprinkle with cheese and parsley.
